Responsive platform designed to streamline operations for doggy daycare
The Barkade is a responsive platform designed to streamline operations for doggy daycare centers while keeping pet parents connected. Our goal was to create a seamless experience for both daycare administrators and pet owners from real-time dog activity tracking to staff task management and check-ins.
We focused on building a web-based admin portal that reflects the real-world complexity of running a dog daycare center.

These platforms offer in-app reservations and multi-pet management, making it easy for owners to schedule and manage multiple pets efficiently
Each platform simplifies staff operations with a number of useful administrative tools, including grooming requests, online payment processing, and maintaining of immunization records
While Dogtopia offers self-check-in and Rover provides photo updates, neither delivers a completely engaging experience.
Activity tracking which is an essential for daily care visibility are not supported by any of the platforms
Dogtopia and Camp Bow Wow lack photo sharing, which reduces transparency and relationships with pet owners
Inconsistent access to self check-in tracking results in ineffective workflow management

We designed an intuitive admin interface that allows daycare staff to manage reservations, check-ins, payments, and multi-dog profiles with ease.
It enables them to assign tasks, track daily activities like feeding or grooming, log incidents, and share real-time photo updates with pet owners.

Check in
At check-in, the admin can easily add new reservations, manage existing bookings, and view detailed pet profiles ensuring smooth coordination and accurate record-keeping.


Pet profile
It provides a comprehensive view of a pet’s information including owner details, medical documents, medications, and activity notes all in one place.
It also allows staff to manage upcoming appointments, pending requests, and payments efficiently through a clear and organized layout.
